A grinning Roy Rogers said: ``Maybe when I die, they'll stuff me and put me on top of Trigger.''
Funny line. Everybody laughed. But Rogers left the feeling he was half-serious.
That won't happen, of course. The famed singing cowboy, who died Monday at 86, will have the traditional burial service.
Who knows? Rogers and Trigger could be together now, riding another range.
Rogers loved Trigger and such affection wasn't just a show biz affectation.
