Hostess Fruit and Grain Cereal Bars. Raspberry, Strawberry, Apple, Blueberry, and Banana Nut. $2.99 per 10.4-ounce box of eight individually wrapped bars.
Bonnie: Most cereal bars on the market are full of sugar (roughly 5 teaspoons) and lack fiber (most contain a mere 1 gram). And so are these new ones from Hostess. The Hostess variety with the most fiber is the Banana Nut, and it has only 2 grams.
So none of these cereal bars is a great breakfast option. They do, however, make a better snack than candy or granola bars.
