An unexpected twist in Weld County politics has left the way open for Senate President Tom Norton to revive his political career - if he wants to.
Dairyman Ron Buxton, the Republican nominee for the seat being vacated by Rep. Dave Owen, R-Greeley, withdrew from the race at a hastily called meeting of House District 48's executive committee Monday night.
