Sing it loud, sing it proud: Denver may soon lead the world in dueling rock 'n' roll piano bars.
Negotiations are in the works to bring the Howl at the Moon Saloon to the Denver Pavillions. That would give Denver three of the sing-along joints, all in the past two years, joining SingSing and The Soiled Dove.
Susan Spencer, development manager of the $98 million Denver Pavillions project set to open Nov. 5, said the deal is not done, ``but we would love to have a Howl at the Moon - it's the granddaddy of dueling piano bars. We don't have a pure nightclub per se, and we would like a couple to give us a clubby feel.''
