Is a new era in the offing for the Regional Transportation Board? We don't know, but a lot of people seem to hope so. Acrimony on the present board frequently defies belief. Yet with seven board seats being contested in this fall's election, hope has soared for a rebirth of civilized exchange at RTD headquarters.
It's not merely personalities that are at stake, however. It's substantive policy.
