NEW YORK -- These New York Yankees would like to be remembered as one of the great teams in baseball history.
And who's going to argue with them?
Certainly not the San Diego Padres.
Certainly not after the first two games of the World Series.
Certainly not after the Yankees knocked the Padres pitching staff around for the second night in a row in a 9-3 win in Game 2 at Yankee Stadium on Sunday night.
The Yankees have faced the best the Padres have to offer - right-handers Kevin Brown in Game 1 and Andy Ashby in Game 2 - and haven't been fazed.
