It's official: Streep's a star
HOLLYWOOD - Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep will be honored today with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The star will be dedicated in front of the Johnny Grant Building on Hollywood Boulevard. Streep has won two Academy Awards and received 10 Oscar nominations during her career, which has included films such as Kramer vs. Kramer, Sophie's Choice, The French Lieutenant's Woman, Out of Africa and Silkwood. In her latest film, One True Thing, Streep plays a woman dying of cancer.
