During their 1994 season opener against San Diego, John Elway and the Denver Broncos could do no wrong - for one quarter.

The Broncos jumped to a 17-0 lead at Mile High Stadium with Elway throwing a 50-yard touchdown pass to Mike Pritchard and an 8-yard scoring pass to Glyn Milburn. But the Chargers surged back on Stan Humphries' touchdown passes of 22 yards to Alfred Pupunu, 47 yards to Shawn Jefferson and 29 yards to Mark Seay.
