Standard & Poor's today affirmed its ratings on Allstate Corp. and its property/casualty and life insurance subsidiaries (collectively referred to as Allstate). The outlook is stable.

At the same time, Standard & Poor's withdrew its single-'A'-minus preferred stock rating on American Heritage Life Investment Corp. (AHLIC), which is a subsidiary of Allstate Corp. The rating on AHLIC was withdrawn at the company's request, and there are no pertinent outstanding issues on it.
