Of all the little pretenses indulged in by corporate executives, few are as charming as the concept of teamwork. Any day, in any conference room, you'll hear them talking about team players, cross-functional teams, and team culture as if they're a bunch of NFL coaches.
I hate to admit it, but women get some of the blame for this team obsession.
