AURORA -- The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center likely will move to Fitzsimons much more quickly than originally planned.
Rather than a move over 30 to 50 years, officials are now talking 10 to 15 years or less.
Such a timetable will minimize disruption for health sciences center employees and patients, will reduce the relocation costs and may boost the overall redevelopment of Fitzsimons, a former Army hospital post.
