ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis has won four consecutive games but coach Joel Quenneville doesn't like the timing of today's matchup against the Colorado Avalanche (noon, KDVR-Channel 31).
And, he's not talking about the afternoon faceoff.
On March 11, the Blues played Colorado in Denver two nights after the Avalanche had suffered an embarrassing 2-1 loss to lowly Tampa Bay. The Avalanche took out its frustrations on the Blues in a 3-2 win.
This afternoon when Colorado ends a disappointing four-game trip with a game against the Blues at the Kiel Center, the Avalanche will be in a nasty mood.
