Tampa Bay Devil Rays manager Larry Rothschild wants to keep it simple.

``We're going to take it one pitch at a time, one at-bat at a time, one game at a time, and when it's all over, we'll see where we are,'' Rothschild has said.

He said it when he got the Devil Rays job last fall.

He said it when the Devil Rays opened spring training.

He said it when the Devil Rays opened the regular season.

And he still is saying it today.
