Colorado Avalanche defenseman Uwe Krupp sat in his dressing stall Wednesday, staring at his equipment bag, and he didn't like what he saw.
Krupp, who made $1.5 million last season, will become an unrestricted free agent July 1 and his future as a member of the Avalanche is cloudy.
``They gave me a Koho bag instead of an Avalanche bag,'' Krupp said. ``It is newer but, you read between the lines. It doesn't look too promising. I would like to think that's not the case but if you look at the record of how our team has
re-signed free agents, it could be a problem.''
