The antitrust case against Microsoft describes the company as waging a take-no-prisoners fight to dominate the worldwide market for browsers, the software that people use to view information on the Internet.
Within the sweeping federal lawsuits filed Monday, the company's own executives are seen as struggling to wrestle a stranglehold onto their biggest rival to win this ``browser war.''
