The Simple Life is light. And simple. And very predictable.
The Simple Life (premiering at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, KCNC-Channel 4) is a late-blooming network comedy project that almost got lost in the spring programming planting.
But unless the audience responds with overwhelming enthusiasm, The Simple Life will die a simple death in midsummer.
