A debate is brewing over Abreu.
And it may boil over.
After all, in five years, Janib Abreu will be a key sports anchor in a major station.
That's not necessarily my opinion but that of Diane Mulligan, news director at KMGH-Channel 7 who announced that Abreu's contract won't be renewed when it expires in August.
So why dump Abreu?
Mulligan, citing a belief that ``Coloradans are some of the most-sports savvy viewers in the country,'' added that it came down to a ``question of experience.''
