Bomb suspected in Chinese blast
BEIJING - Chinese police suspect an explosion that ripped apart a bus in the central city of Wuhan was caused by a bomb, the Guangzhou Daily said Sunday.
Sixteen people were killed and 30 injured in Saturday's blast near the Yangtze Bridge, the newspaper said.
Officials remained tight-lipped about the explosion, which rocked the industrial city five days before the nation marks the first anniversary of the death of paramount leader Deng Xiaoping.
