The dogs had their day Sunday, the second day of the Rocky Mountain Classic - the biggest dog show west of the Mississippi.
More than 2,500 dogs representing all 145 breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club are taking part each day of the three-day event, which ends today. Competitions included conformation, obedience, agility trials and a dog-pulling exhibition.
Thousands of dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to pony-sized Irish wolfhounds, roamed the grounds with their owners Sunday, sat patiently for grooming, or performed in one of the rings at the National Western Complex. There was ...
