The football stadium measure would pass if the election were held this month, according to a KCNC-Channel 4 poll.
Some 54 percent of those polled said they would vote for the stadium, while 35 percent said they would not. Another 11 percent were undecided.
Of those who said they'd vote against the stadium, 74 percent feel strongly about their opinion. Of those who said they'd vote yes, 57 percent hold that opinion strongly.
``What this shows is that the weight of the arguments are on the opposing side,'' said Paul Talmey, president of Talmey-Drake Research and Strategy Inc.
