ATLANTA, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ --
Cox Radio, Inc. (NYSE: CXR) announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell WHOO-AM in Orlando to ABC Radio for $5 million in cash. Pending customary regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2001. ABC Radio plans to broadcast Radio Disney, a live, 24-hour radio network designed for children, on this station.
