That unofficial national holiday known as ``Signing Day'' is over, and no one breathes a bigger sigh of relief than the coaches who have logged thousands of miles over bad roads and backroads trying to sign the next Peyton Manning or Orlando Pace or Troy Davis.
Fun? Absolutely - if you love being given the wrong directions to a recruit's house and winding up in a neighborhood house of ill repute; or waking up in a motel room in rural Mississippi (which may be a redundancy) to find a stranger going through your stuff.
The recruiting road is full of such stories.
