MEDICINE
Inflammation, heart attack linked

The findings also suggest that the inflammation-fighting properties of aspirin may explain why the pain killer seems to prevent heart attacks. Until now, researchers thought that aspirin's clot-preventing properties explained its ability to prevent heart disease.
