ENGLEWOOD -- It was the early bird, Laurie Fox, who set the records Saturday in the Windjammer Invitational track meet at Englewood High School. But Drew Smith, the guy with the snooze alarm, didn't do badly, either.
Fox set meet records in the 100 (12.20 seconds) and 200 meters (25.57), just missed a third in the 400 (58.97) and anchored Fort Collins to the blue ribbon in the 800 medley relay (1:56.2). Smith, from Golden, won the 100 (10.73) and 200 (22.25).
Fox also helped pace Fort Collins to the team title as the Lambkins overwhelmed the field with 191 points. Grand Junction finished ...
