Cleveland in July can be steamy and oppressive, a humid cauldron on Lake Erie that Bill Swift would love to visit. If he does, it'll be as a member of the National League All-Star team.
Imagine that - a Colorado Rockies pitcher in an All-Star Game. Swift never has played in one. And the past two years, Swift's shoulder problems have forced him to ponder simulated games more than the All-Star Game. But he finally is healthy, confident he can contribute to the Rockies and his goal is to get to Cleveland and play in an All-Star Game.
