Man goes home from death row

MONTERREY, Mexico - A man who spent 15 years on death row in Texas for a murder he says he didn't commit went home to a riotous welcome Wednesday, two days after a judge agreed that police misconduct tainted the investigation.

Hundreds of people crowded Monterrey's international airport to watch the Mexican government plane touch down with Ricardo Aldape Guerra. Hundreds more lined the highway to the airport. Aldape Guerra, 35, told reporters that he always knew he would be freed and return to Monterrey with his family.
