Outgoing and brimming with energy, Gentelle Pedescleaux roams the bus, giggling and chattering rapid-fire, playing with other girls' hair, starting sing-alongs and grabbing the driver's microphone to make her own announcements.
At a communal barbecue dinner, the blithe spirit of this band of teen-age explorers forms her own jug band on Casey Jones, tapping on glasses of water and slapping a plastic popcorn holder against her hand as a makeshift tambourine.
