As February turned into March and it became clear the Denver Nuggets would finish with one of the worst records in franchise history, chief executive Charlie Lyons said fans would be rewarded for their loyalty when ticket prices were unveiled for the 1997-98 season.
But the team announced Tuesday it would make no concessions at all.
Ticket prices will remain the same for next season, ranging from $10.50 for upper end balcony seats to $180 for a courtside view.
