GREENWOOD VILLAGE -- City voters will decide in November whether to give future mayors four-year terms instead of two years.
They'll also have a chance to override term limits imposed on City Council members and the mayor by state voters in November 1994.
The City Council agreed Monday to put both questions on the Nov. 4 ballot.
The longer mayoral term would go into effect in November 1999, so it wouldn't apply to the winner of the November 1997 mayor's race.
