Summertime and the living is crazy at many national parks.
Consumer Reports magazine, in its June issue, lists the nation's 35 favorite parks, nine seashores and lakeshores, and six recreation areas, based on responses from 40,000 subscribers who took almost 77,000 trips to the national gems.
But crowding and traffic were cited as problems at several locations, including nearly half of the parks that readers thought were the most scenic.
The magazine suggests visiting one of the parks that has fairly few visitors, including Oregon's Crater Lake or Alaska's Denali or Glacier Bay ...
