NEW YORK-Because of their value in helping drive front-end sales prerecorded videos are a significant category for many drug stores, those in the industry report.
Still, with video being a category with a wealth of trade classes vying for consumers' dollars, many drug chains are taking a cautious approach to the market, limiting the titles they carry and stocking only products that have strong sell-through.
