Glenn Aaron's retirement began typically enough. After 32 years in engineering, he turned in his transit and set out to enjoy what he hoped would be many leisurely days. Before long, though, Aaron discovered that great retirement truth: He had too much time on his hands. And so, he headed out to the garage to putter and pass the time.
Had Aaron's retirement continued in that vein, he might still be out tinkering, but several design awards, a contract with J.C. Penney Co. and one patent later, retirement is a distant dream.
