That's what TechAmerica is.
The 17,500-square-foot store at 1550 S. Colorado Blvd. carries the supplies to build a custom computer, construct your own stereo equipment, put a shortwave antenna on your roof, wire your house for a security system or add workstations to your office LAN.
The prototype store officially opens today, but all week the store has been filled with what employees describe as guys . . . drooling.
``We hope this becomes a toy store for them,'' said Bob Miller, vice president of merchandising.
