In honor of the beginning of the NFL season, I'm going to play a little game. You're welcome to play along.
As you know, the Broncos play the Kansas City Chiefs today. And so Marty Schottenheimer, the Chiefs' wily coach, has resurrected that age-old coaching tradition of, well, stretching the truth.
I won't say football coaches are congenital liars. Football coaches are made, not born. Sort of like Jimmy Johnson's hair.
Anyway, you heard what Schottenheimer said: The Broncos are the greatest team in history, a cross between the '66 Packers and the '72 Dolphins, only better looking. ...
