Kimmisha Dennis told her two daughters Monday evening they were welcome to leave ``if the grass was greener'' somewhere else.
They took her up on it.
And Dennis, 27, received a summons Thursday to answer a charge of misdemeanor child abuse.
Brittany, 6, and Camey, 5, ran away, leaving home in a pouring rain wearing pajamas, robes and slippers. More than 80 people searched through the night, fearing they had been swept away in nearby Bear Creek.
The girls were found safe the next morning, taken in by two sisters who decided not to alert authorities.
