Getting enough sleep is a weight-management technique that is often overlooked.
I'm not talking about dozing off in the middle of the day, but getting a good eight to nine hours of sleep each night. When you think about it, it makes sense. What do you tend to do when you're overtired? Eat, hoping it'll provide the energy you need. When you stay up late watching television, you eat again.
