PARIS -- New blood tests on the driver of Princess Diana's car yielded the strongest evidence yet that he was suffering from alcoholism. And hair analyses show he had used prescription drugs for months, sources said.
Previous tests have shown Henri Paul had more than three times the legal level of alcohol in his blood at the time of the Aug. 31 crash, and revealed the presence of the anti-depressant Prozac and tiapride, a drug used to combat alcoholism.
