One of the joys of owning a 200-pound mastiff is the never-ending joy of finding synonyms for giant. Our mastiff mix, Texas, gets a new nickname every week. Asia, Atlas, Bear, Big Butt, Bubba, Jumbo, Sultan, T-Rex and Tiny are a few of our handles for the big guy, who answers to most of them (mastiffs are an intelligent breed).
The 3-foot-high line of slobber Jumbo leaves across our glass doors is affectionately known as ``the Texas border.'' Buckets of drool emanating from an XXL head covered by XXXXL skin is a feature your mastiff model comes with. Beware or Be Wet.
