When Rocky Mountain News honchos Bob Burdick and John Temple asked me to write a column for the paper, by design I failed to tell them they were dealing with a frustrated athlete.
Not a word from me that I had played football in grade school as Disney Chairman and CEO Michael Eisner quarterbacked our team to a very mixed record.
As a freshman in high school, I was assigned immediately to spaz class, an in itself humiliating experience that needs no explanation. I did, however, learn to play squash racquets.
