A Marine who survived the Oklahoma City bombing will be the government's final witness today as it rests its case against Terry Nichols.
Capt. Matt Cooper will be the 98th witness called since prosecutors began their case Nov. 3.
Then the defense will have its turn.
The case could go to the jury before Christmas.
A cornerstone of the defense case launched today will be the elusive John Doe 2.
He's the man the government originally believed accompanied convicted bomber Timothy McVeigh when he rented the Ryder truck in which the bomb was carried.
