COLORADO SPRINGS -- It's hard to believe anyone could get as excited over a new toaster as Steve Bigari is about his.
But when you work in the world of fast food, getting a new toaster that cuts the toasting time by 32 seconds is akin to the Second Coming.
``Watch this, watch this,'' Bigari tells a visitor behind the scenes at one of his new high-tech McDonald's stores in Colorado Springs.
He grabs a hamburger bun and slides it into a silver chute. Ten seconds later, the bun slides out the bottom, toasted to perfection. Bigari is giddy.
