Honors for Sorenstam, Webb
Player of the year Annika Sorenstam and scoring leader Karrie Webb took home the top honors Monday at the annual LPGA awards luncheon in New York, both clearly enjoying a growing rivalry that can only mean good things to come for women's golf. ``I think I'm living in a dream and I hope I never wake up,'' Sorenstam said after walking off with her second top-player trophy in three years. Sorenstam, 27, won six times on the LPGA Tour this year, finished in the top three 14 times in 22 events and took home a record $1.2 million to earn a Rolex watch and another silver cup to go along with the one she earned in 1995.
