TUNIS, Tunisia -- U.S. black Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan had talks Sunday with Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi on ways to unite and mobilize Muslims in the United States, Libya's state television said.
``The meeting discussed the situation of Muslims in America and ways to unite and mobilize them to put an end to their disparate life and to stop the oppression exerted on them by the capitalist exploiting circles,'' the television, monitored in neighboring Tunisia, said.
It quoted Farrakhan as telling Gadhafi that ``the masses of the Nation of Islam were proud of him as a Muslim guide.''
