GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Although massive nose tackle Gilbert Brown could play today against the Chicago Bears with a strained kneecap that's still bothering him, that wouldn't do the Green Bay Packers much good in the long run.
So, that's exactly what you might expect from the Bears: more long runs.
Coach Mike Holmgren is leaning toward sitting his 350-pound run-stuffer again this weekend, then take advantage of the bye week that follows. That would give Brown three weeks rest.
