SARAJEVO, BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA -- A French soldier was injured today by an explosion while on foot patrol, further underscoring the risks of NATO's peace-enforcement mission.
In Germany, a U.S. peacekeeper was in critical condition Saturday after he suffered an electric shock from a railway power line in the Czech Republic a day earlier.
And friends and relatives of the first American soldier wounded in Bosnia broke into cheers as he returned to American soil Saturday evening.
