You don't have to be a minority to understand and to be active in civil rights, said Rabbi Steven Foster of Temple Emanuel.
"If you really want to improve race relations in America, you must take positive action to make the difference," Foster told about 375 people attending the "Resolving Issues of Our World" conference at the Adam's Mark Hotel.
The daylong conference was organized by the Martin Luther King Jr. Colorado Holiday Commission, chaired by Wilma Webb.
