Lenny Kravitz performed Tuesday night at the Paramount Theatre. His band included Craig Ross, guitars; Cyndy Blackman, drums; George Laks, keyboards; Jack Daley, bass; Michael Hunter, trumpet; Harold Todd, saxophone. Poe opened.
Here's a thought that could only come at a Lenny Kravitz concert: Perhaps borrowing and stealing the musical styles of others is actually a style of music itself.
That's an argument Kravitz might make as he mixes ample amounts of Led Zeppelin, John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix with a pinch of Curtis Mayfield and Sly and the Family Stone.
