When U.S. Customs agent Claude Medearis, 41, lost his life in the Oklahoma City bombing, Sharon Medearis lost a husband and Cathie Alaniz a father. "Dad will come home, Mom," Alaniz told her mother. "I know God would not take both our husbands from us. It would not be fair."
