Centaurus' Jason Vigil had been waiting a year for a shot at defending state champion Adam Kulikowski of Boulder.
When the opportunity presented itself Saturday in the Class 5A Region 1 103-pound championship match at Fort Collins High School, Vigil made the most of it with a 5-3 overtime victory. The win snapped Kulikowski's 49-match winning streak and improved Vigil's record to 28-2.
