TUCSON -- Intensive work in left field loomed for Dante Bichette in spring training, an urgent need to progress where he groped last season.
Then came the Colorado Rockies' off-season outfield shuffle, manager Don Baylor's decision to shift Larry Walker to center field, move Ellis Burks to left and let Bichette return to right. At least for now. Only when Walker decides he's comfortable in center field will Bichette say good riddance to left.
